Introduce a 3-month (quarterly) subscription plan in addition to the existing weekly, monthly, yearly, and lifetime options.
For lower-priced plans, Paddle’s commission represents a significant percentage of revenue:
~$0.70 from $4 (17.5%)
~$0.80 from $5 (16%)
~$0.85 from $7 (~12%)
For small recurring payments, the fixed component of the commission significantly reduces net revenue. This makes low-tier subscriptions disproportionately expensive relative to their revenue contribution.
A 3-month plan increases transaction value without requiring a yearly commitment, and offers lower psychological barrier than yearly.
